Very Good/No Jacket. 12mo - over 6¾" - 7¾" tall. 130 pages; with 32 pages of notes in rear; preface in beginning of book; Includes the life and writings of Addison. Black & white sketch of Macaulay on frontipiece. Pages tight; clean, no markings on pages. No page or shelf wear. Previous owner name in front inside cover. Dark blue linen like hard cover with white lettering and design on cover and spine. Slight rubbing on outer spine crease. An excellent vintage copy for the collector of standard English classics books.

Hardcover. Condition: Fair. This is a rare book, published by Ginn & Co. in 1898. The lettering on the cover and spine is long since faded, but is still legible. Pencil markings throughout the book, but the text is still very readable. Pencil markings cover the front and back end papers. Previous owner's name written inside front cover, along with a purchase date. Tight binding. Boards show some wear, but are still in good shape, considering the age of the book.
