This "Modeller's Luftwaffe Painting Guide" was intended to complement the publisher's three volume series "Luftwaffe Camoflage and Markings 1935-45" but has become a valued modelling aid in its own right. Each of the authors was a skilled aero-modeller, with patricular expertise in defining German aircraft colour scehems, which often strayed far from official specifications. Of special value is the 35 colour patches card specifically produced for this volume and displaying the most important of paints used by the Luftwaffe. An excellent reference book for the serious aero-modeller. 88 pages including index of illustrations. Text is limited to 11 pages, there are more than 200 photographs, the majority b/w but there are 49 colour photos, some close up detail shots. At the back is a quick reference camouflage table, side views, three views and camouflage schemes. Notable also is the extensive range of sketches of aircraft stencil markings which are seldom illustrated in detail. Yellow hard covers with black spine titles NF with hint wear spine top, internally excellent, no inscriptions. Loosely enclosed colour chart also NF.
