Since a humble beginning in 1929, Cape Gate Fence & Wire Works (Pty) Ltd has established itself as a market leader in the steel industry and its associated lines of business. The Cape Gate Group has grown to be the largest privately-owned steel mill in South Africa at Van Der Bijl Park, now controlling the steel manufacturing processes from raw materials through to final products. Only South African steel is used and this guarantees very high quality at a constant grade.
