Coloured illustrations throughout with the text on opposite page. Inner hinges very slightly weak. Page edges slightly dusty. Publishers floral decorated red cloth. Something has been spilt on the covers at some point which has removed some of the pattern to the front and back boards. Also a very slight amount of the red dye has run onto the edges of endpapers. Cloth slightly darkened and marked. Still a good solid copy. A scarce alphabet.

Colourfully illustrated cloth covered boards sunned along edges, bumped and chipped at corners and spine ends, spine sunned, chip with small loss at foot, closed tear and chip with loss to head exposing binding, rear board lightly rubbed and stained in places, closed edges lightly browned, previous owner's ink inscription to fep, spotting to endpapers, internal gutters cracked, binding loose and text block detached from spine, page 55/56 detached from binding, some spotting to edges of pages but text clear to read, 30 colourful full page illustrations by Percy Billinghurst. Size: 32mo.
