Vintage record store poster for the 1993 debut album by The Spinanes. Rebecca Gates and Scott Plouf's debut album as The Spinanes, released on Sub Pop Records in 1993, was the first album released on an independent label to reach the number one spot on US college radio charts. In 1996 Plouf left the duo to play with Built to Spill after the release of their second album, "Strand," in 1996, and Gates recruited bassist Joanna Bolme and drummer Jerry Busher for the band's third and final album, "Arches and Aisles," after which Gates retired the name and began releasing music as a solo artist. "Manos" was reissued by Merge Records in 2018. 18 x 24, folded as issued. Light wear to the far corners, else Near Fine.
