Green cloth-covered boards with gilt decoration and lettering to spine. 8vo. Cloth a little rubbed and rounded on corners and ends of a sunned spine. Internally neat, clean, bright and tight. In its original paper dust wrapper, price clipped and a little browned, gently rubbed on edges with minor crumbling at spine head. Renown water colourist Leonard Squirrell defines his own approach to water colour and comments on the work of some of the great masters of the medium before setting out in detail his own method of painting and giving sound and practical advice aimed at the amateur sketcher and beginner water colourist.
