Squarish book about 8 1/4 by 9 1/4 inches with some 207 pages. Bound in brown cloth with front cover pictorial paste-on insert and gilt lettering. Gilt spine lettering. Illustrated with numerous photos. From the author's Introduction: 'The purpose of this book was to record the lineage and major activities of a family that immigrated from Europe in 1858.' Apparently one name change resulted in the inclusion of the Combe family who emigrated to Missouri in 1881. One of the finest made genealogy books I have ever seen, a pleasure to peruse. Slight wear. FINE.
