Boards have mild shelf wear with light rubbing and corner bumping. Some light marking and sunning. Clipped jacket has moderate edge wear with tears, chips, and some areas of loss. Noticeable rubbing and marking. Some water staining to front, less so spine and rear. Spine is sunned.

(1st-1857). xviii+169+35 plates on 18 pp. 5 text figs, 1 unfolding, woodcut centre t.p., slipped in photocopy of fig.3. ; internally clean, tight & unmarked, the one query I have is that fig.3 should be unfolding but is in three parts, divided where 2 folds… should be, what is odd is that there is no indication that of folds ever existing or that it was not actually issued this way - this I suggest may explain why the photocopy was slipped in - which however shows no marks indicating it was taken from a 3-part original image, am therefore, for rating purposes, assume the photopcopy was supplied by publisher, not taken by a previous owner. Jacket is fine, though the bottom rear wraparound has a paper-cutting fault. Note: quoted shipping rates are calculated for 500-700 gram net weight, cost will be modified up or down as appropriate outside this range. Size: 14.5 Cm x 22 Cm.
