A vintage socialist-era poster depicting a stylized portrait of Friedrich Engels (1820-1895), co-founder of Marxist theory and collaborator of Karl Marx. Designed by Jarko Stanovsky and printed by Dru?stevní Tiskárna, Nový Ji?ín. Poster printed on plastic with an attached hanging cord. Measures 16.5 x 23.25 in. In Very Good condition. Light age toning and surface soiling, including scattered stains, smudges, and abrasions. Hand inscription written in black marker on the left. Minor wear to edges and corners, including a chip to the upper left corner. DM Consignment. Shelved at Rockville, Room B. 1407039. Special Collections - Upstairs.
