Very small closed tears to top and bottom edge spine with slightly rubbed fore-edge corner tips. Clean, tight and strong binding with no underlining, highlighting or marginalia. Blue cloth with gilt lettering to spine, and gilt top text block edge. Size: 8vo. Book.

Hardcover. Condition: Very Good. No Jacket. 1st Edition. Blue cloth boards with gilt lettering and decoration. A couple of light marks present to the front boards as shown in the photos and newspaper clipping pasted to the front end page. Otherwise, internally a very good clean copy with pages free from markings or signs of wear.

Condition: Good. Most items will be dispatched the same or the next working day. A copy that has been read but remains in clean condition. All of the pages are intact and the cover is intact and the spine may show signs of wear. The book may have minor markings which are not specifically mentioned. A good condition book. Edgewear and some marks to the boards and spine. Ex-library with the usual stamps and references. Hinges are cracked, exposing webbing and pages are untrimmed and lightly marked, with some foxing mainly to the endpages. Overall a good clear copy for its age.

Endpapers have some staining and tears. Exterior has wear with a couple small tears on the covers and marks/stains on the text block; a few of the illustrations have blue pen marks. Top edge of text block is gilt. Please see pictures for condition.

First edition hardback. Good condition with no dust-wrapper. xii, 274, [16] pp.; b/w plates. Dark-blue publisher's cloth with gilt lettering and decorations to front panel and spine. Corners are a little bumped, the spine a touch dulled, and the spine-edges rubbed; the cloth is showing a few marks but internally clean and tightly-bound (the rear hinge has started) with a spot of browning to endpapers and a previous owner's name on the half-title. A solid, decent and reference example. 12366.
