Trimmed close to edges with a small margin, as common in these early prints, laid onto paper with a hand painted margin. Some light foxing, but generally in very good condition. The image is reversed when a copy is made onto a plate for printing. The printing method in this instance is a copper plate with the lines drawn in the metal. The metal plate inked and paper placed on top and pressed, making a copy of the image but reversed. The image was used as Plate 10 in Drawing basics Circa 1641.Sheet size 9 x 10 cm (3.5 x 4 inches) approximate measurements.
