Stellenweise nur schwach fleckig, sonst ganz sauber. Als Dissertation ein Sonderfall, nicht nur wegen des Themas: Geschlechtsorgane und Geschlechtssekrete der Tausendfüßler (speziell der Chilognathen und. Chilopoden), auch durch das Fehlen des üblichen Praeses (wohl Beweis einer ganz eigenständigen Arbeit), stattdessen 3 Adversarii (J. Muenter, H. Wachsmuth, C. Bischoff); schließlich durch die luxuriöse Ausstattung: starkes, breitrandiges Papier; die Abbildungen in bis zu 450facher Vergrößerung. Die Arbeit ist seinem patri optimo: Carolo Guilielmo Stein nec non Joan. Henrico Deinhardt gewidmet, der vermutlich den Druck finanzierte. Seiten 53 und 54 mit ausführlicher Vita mit Nennung vieler akademischer Lehrer aus fast allen Gebieten. Stein war später an der Akademie für Forst- und Landwirtschaft in Tharand, dann Professor in Prag. Vergleiche Horn/Sch.
