In his first book, "Repair You Own Saddlery and Harness", the author covered the complete range of repairs that both a saddler and a horse owner could, with study, practice and a little aptitude, attempt to achieve. In this book, the care of rugs has been spotlighted, and all the repairs are well within the capabilities of the average horse owner. This book also concentrates on the comfort of the horse, emphasizing the need for safe and workmanlike repairs. For those of you with any ambitions to progress to more complicated repairs on saddlery, this book is the ideal launching pad to get you used to the feel of needles, awl and thread.
