Stempowski (in Ukrainian); Alimardan Alakbar oglu Topchubashov (1863-1934), a prominent Azerbaijani politician, foreign minister, and speaker of the Parliament of Azerbaijan Democratic Republic (in Ukrainian); Georges-Antoine-Marie Tabouis (1867-1958), a French general who, in 1917, was appointed as a commissioner to Ukraine (in French). This volume, the eighth in a series published by the Ukrainian Scientific Institute in Warsaw (1930-1939), consists of a long series of monographs focusing on Ukraine.
