Condition: Excelente Estado. 1ª Ed. 142pp, Sobre al autora:: María Gripe, nacida como María Walter (n. 25 de julio de 1923, Vaxholm-- 5 de abril de 2007) fue una escritora sueca de literatura infantil, galardonada con el Premio Andersen. Nació en Vaxholm, cerca de Estocolmo, en 1923, y su padre era e…scritor. Estudió filosofía y también historia de las regiones y religiones en la Universidad de Estocolmo. Tras licenciarse, se dedicó a la enseñanza. Se casó con el pintor e ilustrador Harald Gripe, que la animó a escribir y más tarde ilustraría muchos de sus cuentos. Aunque comenzó escribiendo libros de tipo tradicional, surgidos, como ella misma dice, de las historias que contaba a su hija Camila, pronto comenzó a escribir otras en las que sacaba a la luz el autoritarismo que se esconde en la familia y en la escuela, lo que la hace una de las representantes de la tendencia antiautoritaria en la literatura infantil. Con un estilo exquisito y un lenguaje certero y simple, afronta cualquier tema realista, por muy peligroso que pueda parecer, pero que preocupa a la infancia: el hijo no deseado o ignorado, el alcoholismo, la cárcel, el paro, la envidia, la inadaptación, la muerte, la soledad, son hechos que forman parte de la vida cotidiana y con los que hay que aprender a vivir o que hay que superar. En 1974, le fue concedida la medalla Hans Christian Andersen. Murió el 5 de abril de 2007. Size: 13x21cm. Tenemos a su disposición fotografías de nuestros libros.
