4to. 8.5 x 11.75 in. 24 pp. With photo illustrations, text illustrations, centerfold double-page ad for the Casa Manana Revue, map on verso of front cover. Colour-illustrated softcovers, erotic cover art of scantily clad cowgirls, ad for Chuck Wagon concession on back cover (minor creasing, shelfwear), still VG copy. First edition of this souvenir brochure touting the 100 years of Texas Independence, with the Casa Manana show featuring the magnificent stripper review featuring Sally Rand, and a myriad of other scantily clad women. The massive stage was turned with two 450 hp engines, and the pool featuring the nude swimmers contained 617,000 gallons of water. The remarkably brief costumes were designed by the very young Raoul Pene du Bois (d. 1985), who started designing showgirl costumes at the age of 16 for the Ziegfeld Follies, and later Billy Rose's Casa Manana, the Rockettes at Radio City Music Hall, Sonia Henie's ice skating shows, and the 1939-40 New York World's Fair Aquacade.
