The first work consisting of 34 pages (plus a title page and dedication) is Bishop Stillingfleet's Sermon "The Mischief of Separation" published by Henry Mortlock in 1687. The second work is his treatise "The Unreasonableness of Separation: Or, An Impartial Account of the History, Nature and Pleas of the Present Separation from the Communion of the Church of England" with a publication date of 1682 (called here the Third Edition Corrected) also published by Henry Mortlock. The Preface to the treatise is 94 pages, is followed by a detailed descriptive Contents section (7 pages) and finally by the treatise itself, which is 449 pages in length. This edition containing the sermon is quite rare, and was probably bound by the publisher of the two works in 1687--this was because the two works are thematically related, so that the sermon acts as a sort of introduction to the larger treatise. Inv. # 9662. This is an fragile book, international or priority orders will be charged additional shipping.
