Édition princeps rare de ce recueil de poèmes et de texte compilés par Jean Stobée, imprimé en caractères grecs (seule la préface est en latin). Elle est ornée d'une première marque de l'imprimeur gravée sur bois au titre et d'une seconde à pleine page in fine. La première page du texte comporte un bandeau à motif végétal imprimé en rouge. Les autres bandeaux et lettrines, également à motif végétal, sont imprimés en noir. La page de titre comporte la date de 1536 mais le colophon est lui daté du mois de février 1535. Il comporte une préface de Vittore Trincavelli, éditeur de la présente édition que sa famille finança, à Pietro Bembo, un cardinal et auteur vénitien. Cet ouvrage se distingue en ce qu'il permit la conservation et la transmission de fragments de littérature antique grecque qui auraient autrement disparus. C'est également le premier que Zanetti imprime après son installation à Venise. Il marque le premier d'une série d'ouvrages imprimés en grec et financés par la famille Trincavelli.
