Has to be after 1925 as that is when Bekins took over this location at 615 South Tacoma Ave. One side is the city map while the other side is all advertising for the Tacoma Bekins business. Tight sound unmarked copy in Very Good condition. No Signature.

Soft cover. Condition: Good. From the Jamison Cold Storage Door Co., formerly Jones Cold Store Door. Co., in Hagerstown, Maryland. The 6 by 9 inch staple bound softcover catalog is 73 pages and in good condition. The catalog is comprised of a thorough description of cold storage doors with listings of many products available with illustrations and specifications. The tan cover has some rubbing but no folds or tears. The pages are clean and are without markings. Attached to the front is the reference slip outlining various chapters of the catalog. This has been stamped as a library copy. The catalog has no other library markings. It covers standard, noequal, doors as well as freezer and ice cream doors and ice chutes.

An early marketing piece promoting sales of the chloride accumulator battery in residential homes. Electricity, as its delivered today by transmission lines, did not become common in homes until the 1920s. The Electric Storage Battery Company (ESB), founded near Philadelphia in 1888, sold its chloride accumulator battery for $400, plus installation and the cost of wiring. Pamphlet (4" x 7 3/4"): 20 p. with illustrations. Bound with two staples in the original printed paper wrappers. The ink stamps of a Williamsport, Pennsylvania "local representative" appear on the front panel. Minor creasing along the extremities; otherwise very good. Scarce, OCLC locates only three holdings: Hagley Museum, Winterthur Museum, Canadian Centre for Architecture.
