Zt. mit goldgeprägter Deckelvignette und schwarzgeprägtem Rückentitel. Der Einband ist sehr stark berieben und bestoßen, das Leder ist beschabt, Außengelenke mit Aufplatzern. Der Schnitt ist gedunkelt, Seit- und Fußschnitt mit großflächigem Flüssigkeitsfleck. Widmung von 1850 auf dem fliegenden Vorsatz. Die Seiten sind gedunkelt, unfrisch mit Gebrauchsspuren, im vorderen Teil auch fingerfleckig, durchgängig am unteren Eck mit großem Flüssigkeitsrand, zu Beginn schwächer, im hinteren Teil stärker. Platon Andrejewitsch Storch wurde am 10. März 1809 in Pawlowsk geboren; er war ein Sohn von Heinrich Friedrich von Storch (1766-1835), einem deutsch-russischen Wirtschaftswissenschaftler.
