0 4 volume set. Includes illustrations. Flesh and Bones, issues #1-4, published by Upshot. This set is graded VF/NM. This grade applies to the majority of the books in the set. Some may fall above or below the stated grade. Flesh & Bones continues where Dalgoda's hastily truncated story-line ends, with the cute canine spacer of the title on his way towards the wreckage of his home planet in a fleet that's been hastily cobbled together by an Earth government not completely convinced they should help their doggy allies out, even if it increases the chance that they won't suffer the same fate at the hands of the mysterious and violent Nimp. The action comes thick and fast, punctuated by lovely character touches, as Dal fights to keep his leadership and his sanity. Highly recommended if you're more interested in reading about people (albeit some with bushy tails and wet noses) than the costumes they wear. Fine. price is for all 4 volumes.

B&W Illustrations; This is one of the two indistinguishable 1st or 2nd printings (the printings had no change in price, both noted 1st printing, Nov. 1972 on the copyright information). This copy is in Very Good- condition and was issued without a dust jacket. THere is some beginning bumping to the spine ends and corners of the comic covers and a tiny crease to the top front corner. The text pages are generally clean and bright. The foredge of the text block has some toning / darkening to the upper edge. : "Anomaly began as a magazine-size sci-fi fantasy fanzine founded by Jan Strnad and Don Bain in the late '60s. The series featured art by Reed Crandall and Robert Kline and stories from Strnad and Harlan Ellison. Richard Corben appeared in the last two issues, which definitely drove the title to be included in any listing of underground comics." (from Underground Comixjoint).
