Condition: Very good condition. Color illustrated postcard sent by an American serving in France at the No. 16 Philadelphia General Hospital, attached to the British Expeditionary Force in Le Treport, France. This was a 500 bed facility established in 1917. Ralph Straub writes to Peg on Nov. 5 1917 that he is doing well and will… send photographs. Color pictorial card depicts a French soldier saluting an American soldier pictured next to an enormous hand colored American flag, and within 6 pointed star. Divided back.
