Possibly Kitchin's own copy. Hardcover, 8vo, pp. 172. Original orange boards, gilt-lettered spine. Some rubbing to the spine and minor bump on the right fold; slight foxing to pages and bumped corners. It is rare to find any edition signed by Kitchin. Published April 1925; approximately 1,000 copies printed. The Sussex ledger records 412 copies sold by 18 January 1926. Reference: Woolmer 68. STREAMERS WAVING was C.H.B. Kitchin's debut novel. In the 1930's onward, Kitchin became known for his detective and mystery novels, featuring Malcolm Warren, an amateur sleuth. Signed.
