Volume I: a biography of Schubert and a critique of his vocal compositions; 137 pp., illustrated with eight full page illustrations and including various Indexes. Volume II: a selection of the Schubert's vocal music; 106 pp., illustrated with 16 watercolours by Anton Pieck. Boards show handling and shelf wear but the binding is tight.
