A family photo album detailing part of David Striker's life beginning in 1924 all the way through to 1948. The beginning of the album is very focused on David's baby pictures with other family members while they were living in New York. The album shows David and his sister, Mary, growing older and vacationing with their family. The family travels to places all around the North East including Buffalo, Niagara Falls, the Hudson River, the Erie Canal, and New York City in New York; Boston, Massachusetts; Atlantic City, Asbury Park, and The Gingerbread Castle in Hamburg in New Jersey; Montreal, Quebec, and Ontario in Canada; and Bermuda in their Buck Coupe named, "The Magic Carpet". While most of the photographs are of the kids posing many of the photographs capture the landscapes of the waterfalls, forest trails, and cityscapes visited by the family. Later in the album David is seen as an aviation pilot in World War II with his fellow soldiers posing in front of various planes or at their base. While some photos are light-hearted including one with David and a friend taking pictures inside a plane's cockpit, others are more serious with photographs of soldiers who had died during shootings and bombings. David is pictured in a military parade and seen smiling in several pictures of him and other soldiers at a beach relaxing. By 1948 David was living in Meaderville, Montana near the goldmines with his family working as a laborer to make wooden buildings and houses. Additional ephemera includes fold out postcards and tour booklets for Montreal, Quebec, and The Hudson River as well as a "Points of Interest," pamphlet for New York. An extensive photo album centered on a young man beginning with his childhood and continuing through his adulthood from 1924 through 1948.
