Pages have slight foxing, tanning and minor thumbing. Foxing more noticeable towards the start and end of the book and on text block edges. Endpapers have strips of tanning caused by jacket. Previous owner's inscription to front pastedown. Boards have some moderate edge wear, with slight bumping to corners and minor bumping to spine ends. Boards a little rubbed and marked overall. Some mild sunning. Book has a slight forward lean. Gilt is bright. Clipped jacket has some edgewear with chips, tears and creasing. Jacket is slightly rubbed and marked overall. Slight droplet mark to front flap.

Condition: Good. 1953. 96 pages. Blue pictorial dust jacket over blue cloth. Inscription to front endpaper. Pages are lightly tanned and thumbed at the edges, with light foxing. Binding has remained firm. Boards are a little rub worn, slight shelf wear to corners, spine and edges. Corners are a little bumped. Spine ends are mildly crushed. Light tanning to spine and edges. The clipped dust jacket has heavy edge wear, with tears, chips and areas of loss.
