First Edition
Hardcover. Condition: Very Good. No Jacket. 1st Edition. First edition (so stated). 4 illustrations; 1 large map. 9 page introduction by Fred P. Schonwald. Original 1/2 red cloth stamped in gilt over tan boards with gilt vignette of a turkey on the front cover (spine a bit faded). Enclosed in the original publisher's tan board slipcase with large printed paper label on the front and back. Very good, slipcase is cracked; a few stains. 47 pages. Signed and inscribed on the half title page: "For Claudia Jennings with all good wishes, Fred & Elsa Schonwald." Together with a Merry Christmas card laid in loose to Miss Jennings from Elsa and Fred Schonwald.
