Jacket is green and white with black lettering, wrapped in an archival mylar sleeve. Jacket is moderately toned, worn, and scuffed, with smudging to covers. Cracking along jacket front joint. Very small chips and closed tears in the top and bottom jacket edges; similar shallow chipping at the head and tail. Jacket is price clipped at all flap corners. White (best known for Charlotte's Web, Stuart Little, and his work with The New Yorker) and Richard Lee Strout (writer of The New Republic's "TRB from Washington" column from 1943-1983) using a collage of their names as Lee Strout White. Illustrator is Daniel Brustlein, here using the pseudonym Alain, notable for his cartoons and illustrations in The New Yorker.
