Tali caratteristiche alimentano l'ipotesi che in queste comunità, anche in presenza di una prolungata esperienza migratoria o di progetti d'insediamento definitivo, i legami con il paese d'origine siano stretti e rendano i migranti sospesi, appunto, tra due rive. The aim of this Special Issue is to provide a comprehensive overview of the processes of residential segregation and/or socio-economic integration of migrant populations in urban areas.
