Dark reddish brown cloth covered boards with black and cream lettering and illustrations on front panel and spine. Boards are clean. Crimping and slight scuffs along edges at head and tail of board spine. Fore-edge corners are minimally turned and scuffed. Several shallow bumps along upper- and lower-most front and back board edges. External page edges are age- and soil-toned, upper edges have several faint stains. Author's pencilled name on title page. Text pages are age-toned else internally clean with no marks or tears. Text block is sound. Dust jacket panels are sunned overall; back panel and spine are soiled, front panel less so. Spine has a number of damp stains. Loss along edges at head of jacket spine and adjacent front corner and upper edge of front jacket panel. Similar loss at tail of jacket spine. Upper edge of back jacket panel has loss of 1" by up to 3/4" and several adjacent creases. Spine and fore-edge folds are heavily creased and with several rub-throughs. All fore-edge corners are rubbed and with loss - see photos. Inside flaps are clean but sunned along the upper and lower edges; all corners have uniform clips. Price of $1.40 is on the back cover.
