Hardcover. Condition: Very Good. First Edition, First Printing. Large octavo. 6.75 x 9.75 in. xxviii, 469 pp. A very good ex-library copy in the original black cloth boards with only minor rubbing along the bottom corners and the edges of the spine. The pages are clean, except for a prior owner's name and address located on the front free endpaper. This copy was withdrawn from the Simmons College Library in Boston and has minimal markings. The lower spine contains the call number in neat white paint, and the interior boards have corresponding library plates. The title page contains a small "Withdrawn" stamp and "Simmons College Boston" is perforated just above the publisher name. Copyright 1930 by the Carnegie Endowment for International Peace.
