Printed wraps with old reinforcement of binding. 47pp. Appendix includes notes and tables of Table of Distance in Miles Niagara Falls to Windsor, Linear Arrangement, Table of Gradients, Commerce of the Lakes, data on ports of Chicago, Milwaukie (later spelled Milwaukee), Hamilton, Welland Canal, and more. Two folding maps: Map of Profile showing Ontario counties through which and adjacent to the route from Niagara Falls to Windsor, and "Map of the Route of the Great Western Railway shewing (sic) Its Connection With Other Public Works Projected And Completed. It show the entire region from the seaboard west including all the Great Lakes to what would become Minnesota on the west and Ohio and adjacent states on the south. Ex-library copy but showing only the call number on the bottom of the front cover in pencil. Ink signature in tiny writing on the top of the cover with a couple of pencil notes. Back paper cover oxidized for the most part. Tiny chips to front cover. The maps have archival repairs to the fold creases. The binding has a narrow strand of modern filament. Exceedingly rare.
