The Timely Rain: Travels in New Tibet by Stuart and Roma Gelder, with a foreword by Edgar Snow, is a hardcover edition published by Monthly Review Press in 1965. The book features burnt orange cloth covers with gold print on the front cover and spine. It is in good condition without a dust jacket. The covers show moderate corner wear and have crushed spine ends. The binding is slightly rolled forward and a bit weak, but all pages are intact. The front hinge has been repaired. An organization stamp is neatly marked out on the front flyleaf, and there is a minor abrasion on the front flyleaf as well.
