Impulsgeber für die kontinuierliche Weiterentwicklung des technischen Standards im Smart Grid ist dabei das regulierte Strommarktdesign, das durch die Festlegung geeigneter Tarife und rechtlicher Rahmenbedingungen die notwendigen, wirtschaftlich und technisch sinnvollen Innovationsimpulse setzt. Der Strommarkt ist damit der Garant für die weitere Effizienzentwicklung im Smart Grid. - Nach der Darstellung der Grundzüge des Netzausbaus auf allen Spannungsebenen werden die Bedingungen für die Dimensionierung von Betriebsmitteln im Smart Grid im Normal- und im Störungsfall dargestellt.
