Prabir Chowdhury (b.1958) M.Sc. (Anth.) with specialization in Physical Anthropology has joined Anthropological Survey of India in 1984. His special interest areas are growth, nutrition and DNA techniques. He has published many books and articles in reputed journals on nutritional studies of Indian population.
