Add to basketHardcover. Condition: Near Fine. Dust Jacket Condition: Near Fine. An outstanding copy of this Second Issue which has the large blue disc on the cover referring to HERZOG. An exceptional copy of author's first book. Second printng stated but jacket shows "a novel by the author of Herzog and The Victim" which places this in 1964 or soon after, although the date is not actually featured. Black textured cloth with gold and white stamping to spine and front board is clean and fresh. Unmarked, tight and square, but with some (usual) foxing to the UNTRIMMED text block. The jacket is also in a superb condition, protected now. It is unclipped and it has no important damage - just a few tiny creases. A smart and sharp collectable.
