Hard Cover. Condition: Near Fine. Barton A. Wright (illustrator). First Edition. Hard cover,12mo, in green cloth illustrated cover stamped in gold, 259pp, First hardback edition. Printed by Northland Press, Flagstaff. The Author, W. B. MacDougall explains in the Preface this is intended to bridge the gap between the needs of the park biologists making surveys of plants and the needs of the more casual visitor trying to identify what they see. The drawings are by Mr. Barton A. Wright, Curator of the Museum of Northern Arizona. Features a number of color photographic reproductions, black and white photos as well as a few pages of line drawings. This series came out first in soft wraps, and includes a variety of ethnographic, historical as well as natural history content. Book.
