The spines are slightly darkened with the head & tail of the Vol. 1 spine and the tail of the Vol. 2 spine chipped. The bottom edges of the wraps are creased. The spines of the dust wrappers are a bit darkened with their heads & tails chipped. The edges of the jackets' panels are darkened with a few tiny chips & their top edges are creased. 356 pages; & 325 pages, including 618 black-and-white reproductions of works by Munch. The top edges of the books are foxed with minor foxing to the fore-edge of Vol. 2. The Vol. 2 text block is partially detached. The edges of the pages are slightly darkened with their top edges slightly roughed. Good. The translation of the publisher's name, which is given on the title page, is Publications of the New Society of Letters.
