Inscribed on title page: "Compliments of the season of Dec 1936 to the Heinies from the Brownies." A line drawn underneath suggests that the "Brownies" may have been a nickname for the publisher's family, but this is not certain. Folio size hardcover with hundreds of large sepia toned rotogravure photographs of California with accompanying text.
