The catalogue, which was edited by Frederick A. Sweet, includes paintings, pastels, watercolors, drawings, etchings and lithographs by Whistler, as well as a few ancillary works depicting Whistler by others. The show ran at The Art Institute of Chicago from from January 13, to February 25, 1968. It also ran at Munson - Williams - Proctor Institute in Utica, N. Y. from March 17 to April 28, 1968. There are at least 5 color plate illustrations and numerous black-and-white illustrations. CONDITION -- VERY GOOD -- This is a previously owned book that is clean and presentable with the following imperfections noted :: EXTERIOR -- Moderate weathering and a touch of smudging to the covers; text-block edges display foxing and a touch of discoloration. BINDING -- Solid INTERIOR -- There is scattered light foxing (discoloration) just discernible about the edges, else all is clean and unmarked , with but mild signs of handling.
