Small piece cut from upper blank corner of title page. Ink stamp of Prof. R. Kobert on front flyleaf. Two lines underlined in ink on one page. Very Good. First Edition. Robertum Brady . ; Secunda De luis venereae historia & curatione, ad D. Henricum Paman; Dissertatio epistolaris ad . . . Gulielmum Cole; De observationibus nuperis circa curationem variolarum confluentium, nec non de affectione hysterica. Sydenham's Observationes medicae, the first work in this volume, was originally published in 1676. It is Garrison-Morton 2198, 5075, and 5441.1. According to OCLC listings, some copies of the 1683 Opuscula have Sydenham's Tractatus de Podagra et Hydrope bound at the end. This copy does not. I do not know if the 1683 Opuscula is incomplete it does not have the Tractatus. Also, since I have not seen a copy of the 1683 Opuscula with the Tractatus bound at the end, I do not know what the title page imprint of the Tractatus is when it is bound at the end of the Opuscula. The Tractatus was first published in London in 1683, so its publisher was NOT the same as the publisher of the Opuscula. It is interesting that the two digitized copies I found online of the Opuscula do NOT contain the Tractatus de Podagra et Hydrope. They are identical to the copy offered here. OCLC locates copies in these US libraries: Chicago, Columbia, Harvard, Johns Hopkins, Minnesota, National Library of Medicine, New York Academy of Medicine, Northwestern, College of Physicians of Philadelphia, Princeton, University of Texas Medical Branch, Yale.…
