Edited by Árpád Szélpál (18971987) the Hungarian poet, journalist and photographer. He was member of Lajos Kassák's avant-garde circles and published his poems in "MA" and later in "Munka". As a photoreporter his first works were published in "Népszava", the Social-democrat newspaper, whose logo the "Red Man with Hammer" was designed by Mihály Biró (18861948), who is the designer of the cover and the rear of this magazine. On the cover the "hammer-man" is pictured among red flowers while threatening black dogs, the symbols of Fascism, are surrounding him. . Untrimmed. Folded. Cover stained.
