Many are full page. All are of the highest quality. There is some other illustrative material (Vol. Two has one brilliant color plate from the original tinted by Mrs. Kinsey). Volume One: "The Family Album & Other Early Work." Volume Two: "The Magnificent Years". As the introductory material says, the Kinseys "spent most of a lifetime in photography" in the logging areas of Washington State beginning about 1900. The photos published here were selected from 4,500 surviving glass plates & film.
