Text: Japanese/ English, 71pp, One small original woodblock print included. Catalogue raisonné of 77 wood engraving prints from 2003 to 2013, with 16 carved woodblocks. Good condition with minor damage to the jacket. Takehiro Nikai (1980~) is a Japanese woodblock print artist. He creates woodblock prints using a technique where he carves the trunk of a tree to make the printing block. He carves neurotically fine lines, depicting fantastical and grotesque otherworlds. His exceptional skill and extreme imagination are highly regarded within Japan's contemporary printmaking industry.
