Set in the vibrant tapestry of 16th-century Italy, the author paints a captivating portrait of a society grappling with the tensions between love, duty, and social norms. The narrative delves into the complexities of human nature, exploring themes of forbidden passion, familial disapproval, and the indomitable spirit of those who dare to follow their hearts. Through the lens of this forgotten tale, the author offers a profound meditation on the enduring power of love and its ability to overcome adversity. This book is a reproduction of an important historical work, digitally reconstructed using state-of-the-art technology to preserve the original format. In rare cases, an imperfection in the original, such as a blemish or missing page, may be replicated in the book. print-on-demand item.

Venezia, Gaspare Storti, 1778. In-8° (18 x 13), pp. 192. Cartonatura coeva in carta decorata a motivi floreali. Il ferrarese Talassi (1750-1804) fu cantante e poeta estemporaneo, e viaggiò in Italia, in Inghilterra, in Germania e soprattutto in Francia, esibendosi come poeta improvvisatore.

In -8°, pp. 453, (3).
