Trade Paperback. 4 pages. Talbott, Frisbie & Co. produced patent medicines, including Swift's Vegetable Liver Pills and Swift's Wild Cherry Balsam. Short story of young Dick who cares for a horse, Snow-storm, for a week after his father falls ill but recovers after taking Wild Cherry Cough Balsam. First edition (first printing), presumed. Good only in green wrappers (paperback). Fragile. Wrappers are chipped and separated, held together with clear tape. Pages are browned and chipped. Scarce advertising pamphlet.
