Hardcover. Condition: Fair. 1st Edition. A flawed copy of this presentation of the Munsell color order system as a means of identifying and articulating gem colors. The spiral-bound publication presents colors with hundreds of small dots affixed to heavy stock pages. Unfortunately, in handling the volume, we discovered that the adhesive has weakened and that, with handling, dots are detaching or starting to detach. We've slipped the book into a mylar sleeve along with 11 dots that flaked out of the book and observed other dots slipping from their moorings before we decided to discontinue handling it. We can't be certain we recovered all the detached dots, but if any are missing entirely it would be a tiny percentage. Steeply discounted to reflect the rather significant issue.
