In-4° piccolo (24 x 16), pp. 56, con 4 belle tavv. f.t. incise su rame all'acquatinta in tonalità seppia, disegnate da Bramati e incise da Rados. Bella leg. coeva in piena pelle marmorizzata con disegno a radica di noce, cornice in oro ai piatti, fregi in oro al dorso (un guasto restaurato restaurato al dorso). Fresco es., con timbro coevo di proprietà al frontizio: "D. Bona". (11263) Poema in 4 canti di ispirazione "byroniana", tipico della vena dell'autore Carlo Tedaldi Fores (Cremona, 1793 - Milano, 1829). Dopo una prima produzione poetica di tipo classicheggiante di ispirazione soprattutto foscoliana, l'autore si collocò poi con i suoi poemi nelle fila del romanticismo lombardo; la sua Narcisa è considerata un tipico esempio di "byronismo" in Italia; vi si narra la vicenda di Narcisa, giunta a Montpellier col padre, di religione anglicana, morta improvvisamente mentre dall'Inghilterra la raggiungeva il fidanzato, colonnello Riccardo; le fu negata l'inumazione nel cimitero cattolico, con la costernazione del padre e del fidanzato, che fu poi ucciso dai francesi.…
