Hardcover. Condition: Fine. Dust Jacket Condition: fine. First Edition. Small quarto, 160pp., illustrated. A crisp, clean copy, about fine, in like dust jacket, a tinge rubbed. Top edge gently foxed. This copy SIGNED and warmly INSCRIBED by then-President of the Board of Supervisors of San Francisco Dianne Feinstein (who also wrote the Foreword): "To Karen and Bruce, With love and friendship. In thanks and admiration. Dianne. Christmas, 1975." The inscription page, which is opposite Feinstein's Foreword, has some stray pencil markings or rubbing marks. An uncommon book, well-illustrated with vibrant scenes of San Francisco; particularly scarce signed by Feinstein, who would be elected Mayor three years after the inscription, and would later serve in the US Senate for over three decades.
