Softcover. Condition: Very Good+. First Edition; First Printing. This little book of recipes and menus was published by the E. C. Harley Compnay of Dayton, Ohio, a wholesale provisions company, no doubt for their customers. Except for a little age-toning and a couple of small interior creases, the book is NF - I don't think it has been in a kitchen! There is a newspaper clipping inside, probably frm Yakima WA based on a want ad, that has a recipe for dry shampoo from Mrs Rohrer, the Style and Fashion editor. It uses cornmeal, plus something called amotone. THe only reference to amotone I can find is for a gasoline additive used by Amoco in the 1970's, but that's not likely. Still, I don't think I'd want to try this out! ; 24mo 5" - 6" tall; 84 pages.
